Jamia Mass Comm Centre Rated 'Best' in India

The journalism school of Jamia Milia Islamia has been rated as the best in India by a weekly after a countrywide survey.

Jamia Millia Islamia's Mass Communication Research Centre (AJKMCRC) has retained its first position for the second consecutive year in an all-India ranking survey of top professional educational institutions having government accreditation or affiliation, conducted by Outlook magazine recently,The magazine said that "detailed objective questionnaires were sent to 1,700 colleges across India."AJKMCRC offers seven courses -- M.A. in Mass Communication (50 seats), M.A. in Convergent Journalism (20 seats), M.A. in Development Communication (20 seats), M.A. in Visual Effects & AnimationP.G. Diploma in Still Photography & Visual Communication; P.G. Diploma in Acting and P.G. Diploma in Broadcast Technology. A written examination will be held to select the students for these courses. T
